House Watch Vacation Protection
Leaving a house vacant can void your insurance. Homeowners should be aware that standard home insurance may not cover damage occuring in a vacant house if it is not inspected on a regular basis.
Also, check with your lawyer to determine the dangers of asking a neighbour or friend to check out your alarms.
Whether you are away for a day or several months we will ensure that you meet the requirements for insurance coverage. For example, we will:
- perform scheduled checks and pick up any papers/flyers that have been delivered;
- vary lights and window coverings to provide that lived in appearance while you are away;
- look out for unusual activity, suspicious persons or problems such as water leakage.
